Nejire Hado is a brand new character in the My Hero Academia franchise. She is part of the UA Big Three, the school’s top superhero candidates, along with Mirio Togata and Tamaki Amajiki.

10) IT WAS NOT ALWAYS ONE OF THE BEST
However, she wasn’t always like this. In fact, none of the Big Three were considered the best at their school at any given time. It is said that none of these outstanding students and future heroes of Japan made it through their second year at AU Sports Festival.
For starters, it’s hard to form friendships and relationships when you’re surrounded by such strange people. 9) MANY CONSIDER HIS CHARACTER VERY UNDERUSED
Many My Hero Academia fans consider Nejire to be a spectacular character with a lot of unrealized potential. This is due to the fact that she is the only member of the Big Three who does not have significant screen time as a hero, which causes people to simply refer to Mirio and Tamaki as “the Big Two.”

This does not stop Nejire from caring about Mirio, as she constantly tries to cheer him up during Eri’s drama. The members of the Big Three have a strong bond with each other, although some are closer than others.

2) HIS NAME REFERS TO HIS POWER
Nejire’s last name, in fact, is a clever play on his abilities. Her alter is clearly known as Wave Motion, and her last name contains the characters for “wavelength.”
The pattern combines a series of silhouettes and the word “change,” alluding to the concept that individuals separate or combine, which is represented by minor waves. It also contains the kanji of the words “movement”, “change” and “confusion”, which together form the Japanese term for “wave”. His first name in hiragana also means “distortion”.
