At the age of fourteen, Momo has become one of the most beloved characters in My Hero Academia and, at the same time, one of the most controversial in the anime. Some fans despise his clothing choices, while others appreciate the significance of his costume.
Whatever your feelings on the subject, you have to accept that there is a lot to learn about Momo’s character. 10) Extreme Intelligence
Momo Yaoyorozu is a positively brilliant individual. In fact, that’s the understatement of the year. Momo is, in fact, one of the smartest characters in the series according to her statistics (which are in the official character book). She has an IQ of 6 out of 5.
This allows her to be as smart as an S-class car, which is quite remarkable in this day and age. And it’s used to good effect. To accomplish anything (see below), Mother must have a clear idea of everything she wants to develop. This implies that she has stored hundreds of patterns and other assets.
Momo’s brain has many useful functions. On more than one occasion, her intelligence has come in handy. The creation of a tracker – while she was half-conscious and in great distress – is the most notable case.
9) Alter Creative
Creation is the name of Amomos’ alter. It gives her the power to recreate anything that is not alive. She does this by modifying the molecules of the fat cells in her skin.
All she needs is enough fat cells to work with, an understanding of what she wants and time (which varies depending on the object).
That’s why Momo has had to memorize so many product designs. She cannot build anything without knowing the molecular composition of the object she is building. Nor can she create something complicated without fully understanding every little component that makes it up – and where it is hidden.
8) Exposed Skin
Do you know why Momo’s suit has so much exposed skin? It’s not just for fan service after all.
As we said earlier, the fat cells in Momo’s body serve as the engine for his alteration. Therefore, the more tissue there is to work with, and therefore the less skin, the better.
We’ve seen a few instances where Momo has used more skin to build something, and each time it has resulted in the destruction of her clothing. This implies that the more skin she wears, the more likely she is to destroy her clothes. So this is simply a practical response for her.
7) Very cooperative
According to the official character book, another characteristic that Momo possesses to an exceptional level is cooperation. 5 out of 5 here is not an exaggeration.
We’ve seen Momo work with a variety of players throughout this stage, and each time she’s been able to identify their strengths and limitations as well as devise a strategy that works for everyone. In addition, Momo knows how to get them the help they need.
Taking care of others is almost second nature to her. She has made a dozen gas masks without even thinking about it, all for the children around her, including students with whom she didn’t often have contact.
6) I entered UA via recommendation
Did you know that a significant number of AU high school students were accepted by recommendation? That means they had enough credentials to be considered at another level, but still had to pass several tests to be admitted.
Mobo is one such child who was recommended by an AU official. Her family, most likely, made a few phone calls to get her selected, but she also earned it. The fact that she passed the entrance exam to the AU recommendations shows her merit.
5) Bakijutsu
We said earlier that Momo has the potential to make almost anything she needs, as long as she knows how to do it. However, creating a weapon won’t be of much use if she doesn’t know how to use it.
This is where her fighting skills come in. Bakijutsu refers to Momo’s ability to use a variety of weapons, both offensive and defensive. And she is very good with them, as we have seen so far.
4) Ultimate Move: Yaoyorozu's Lucky Bag
At UA High School, each student is encouraged to design their own set of ultimate moves. It will come as no surprise to learn that the brilliant Momo has already formulated several plans for what to do with her education.
Her most famous move (currently) is known as Yaoyorozu’s Lucky Bag, in which she creates a huge cannon. That’s right, you read that right. She can – and will – shoot a bag full of objects with her cannon, which can be anything and everything. (Again, as long as she knows how to create them and has enough resources to do so).
3) Pianist
Momo is an amazing young woman who has never forgotten where she came from. Her appearance suggests that she was raised in an upper class family. As a result, Momo grew up with everything she needed and received all the training she needed to help her develop her mind and improve it.
In addition, Momo received a more traditional education. You may be surprised to learn that Momo has been trained in music and can play the piano. This is an ability she will be able to show off on a keyboard in a future episode (in the anime, manga, or both).
2) Rankings
At UA High School, Momo Yaoyorozu took several exams. We all know that she passed her entrance exam, but the story doesn’t end there. On the first day of class, Shota Aizawa gave the students an impromptu test known as the Quirk Anxiety Assessment. Momo won this test by walking.
Although the narrative is not as straightforward, it is clear that she was a genius. Later in the book, on the midterm, Momo again outperformed the class, which makes sense given her intelligence. The midterms were not graded (at least not visibly), but we can infer that she was once again at the top.
She probably passed the written and practical exams again, as we know. Finally, Momo Yaoyorozu passed her provisional license exam, which is no surprise to anyone at this point.
1) Equipment
Because of Momo Yaoyorozu’s alteration, she always wears special items. You can always spot many items on her when she is wearing her hero costume. The costume itself, which has been nicknamed the Yaoyoreotard, is the first thing you will notice. The name comes from the fact that the garment originally looked like a yagi antenna.
The next item on his list is his utility belt, also known as the Yaoyorobelt (is there a pattern here?). The main purpose of this large belt is to store Momo’s lexicon of constructions and materials, which she calls the “Yaoyorobelt”.
