DISCLAIMER: My Hero Academia Chapter #312, “Hired Gun”, containing notes for My Hero Academia #312, by Kohei Horikoshi, Caleb Cook and John Hunt is now available in English from Viz Media.
In chapter #312 of the manga My Hero Academia, Princess Nagant starts off negatively. The fandom of the series was captivated by Lady Nagant’s villainous debut in chapter # 312 of the My Hero Academia manga. The community immediately embraced her, illustrating the need for many more female adversaries, regardless of their heroic or non-heroic background, as she did.
While there is still much to learn about Lady Nagant, there are indisputable reasons why she was locked up in Tartarus: Lady Nagant is not someone the hero villain would want to meet. However, for fans on Twitter, her bad disposition is not shocking. Lady Nagant Was A Hero
After his imprisonment, All For One was delighted to meet Lady Nagant and immediately gave her the task of pursuing Deku. She seemed reluctant to accept it, causing All For One to make a connection between her and Deku by remembering a hero’s death in the past.
Her ultimate goal is the downfall of the Hero Society, but this will not be achieved if people like Deku try to stop it. One For All passed the Quirk, Air Walk, to Lady Nagant as a sign of allegiance, which gives her the ability to manoeuvre overhead as if she were moving or running.
Lady Nagant Was The Hawks' Senpai
Although the Hawks have several links to another much-followed character on Twitter, Mothra welcomes the Three Goddesses. This news has prompted some fans to already produce fan art depicting their debut as fellow heroes, like this one by @_oillipheist.
Lady Nagant has a soft spot for helping those who have been persecuted by society, particularly within the Hero Society, and as Hawks was rescued from a home where he was being abused, Lady Nagant’s influence may have saved his life.
Quirk Of Lady Nagant's Gun
Lady Nagant’s alter is called Rifle, which allows her to change her arm into a gun capable of firing ammunition created by her hair. In addition, the colour scheme of her hair – blue and pink, like the indiegomov artist, underlines her presence. More importantly, he notes his homage via the same colours in his art.
As pointed out by other fans, his hairstyle and pretty black leather assassin dress are the perfect idea for cosplaying new concepts from the realm of villains; an excellent example is offered by the photo of @ kadeart above.
Another Strong Bad Woman Is A Welcome Addition
The anime has a strong cast of female characters, but there aren’t many villains – except for Himiko Toga. This new addition allows Toga fans to explore new areas.
Toga is a hard-hitting Pokémon that isn’t afraid to use calculated attacks to take out its enemies. Lady Nagant doesn’t seem to have any mercy for Deku, but that doesn’t seem to bother fans of the series. Her proud look and smile have already won her tens of thousands of readers, in the same vein as the imposing Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.
This admiration will grow as the story of these past heroes’ misdeeds becomes one. Kohei Horikoshi did not disappoint with My Hero Academia, which needed some exquisite new characters.
