THE STORY SO FAR

LHISTOIRE-JUSQUICI

The fourth season of My Hero Academia began with a new adversary named Overhaul, who is determined to restore the world to its pre-Alter state. Overhaul has been taken over by Shie Hassaikai’s former employer, who also intends to restore the power of the yakuza in order to repay his debt.

He believes that alters and heroes are a plague on society, so he creates bullets from Eri’s blood and cells to destroy them. On Midoriya’s first day on the job at Sir Nightteye’s agency, Mirio and Midoriya encounter them on patrol and are forced to let Eri go – a decision that has haunted them ever since.

WHAT CAN FANS EXPECT

Endeavor and Hawks managed to fight a Nomu who can not only withstand Endeavor’s powerful assaults, but can also think and speak at the end of season 4. While it seems the League of Villains has hit rock bottom for now, they still have Alters bullets in their arsenal after overpowering Overhaul. This could be a blow to civilization if the League were to employ them.

In Season 5, Yuei and the students will play a more prominent role, focusing more on the 1B class. For a joint training session, they will be divided into small groups to compete against each other.

Although it seems that 1-A still has the upper hand, 1-B has also progressed, although to a lesser extent than 1-A. At the end of season 4, Midoriya sees all the previous One for All users in his dream and a glimpse of the first user with his brother All for One.

When he wakes up, he is completely dazed, but he has no idea what the dream means. Once he understands it, he may be able to better understand and control his Alter.

THE TRAILER

In October 2020, My Hero Academia season 5 debuted with the first trailer. Another trailer was released in December. On February 27, 2021, a third video was released, which featured several more 1-B heroes as well as some action scenes from both classes.

The opening theme, “No. 1”, will be performed by DISH, a dance rock band, according to the trailer. The peggies, a female rock band, will sing the ending song “Ashiato” (Footprints).
