Jasco Games has partnered with Asmodee USA to create a trading card game based on the world-famous manga/anime series My Hero Academia ( Boku no Hero Academia ), which will be available in English during the summer.
Players of the My Hero Academia Trading Card Game can “create powerful card games around the 1-A students and the heroes and villains that surround them, pitting rivals against each other with a fresh new card game based on the characters and quirks of the beloved series. (and our favourite trilogy).
“My Hero Academia CCG will be “accessible to new players, introducing them to the depth and strategy of the UniVersus system, while maintaining full compatibility with previous ones,” according to Jasco. The game will feature a “new map layout and meticulous design” to ensure that it is “new player friendly, while remaining compatible with the UniVersus system”. The initial edition of the game will include a ‘rival deck’ for two players, content packs and boosters to ‘load onto the deck’, as well as a range of play mats based on My Hero Academia characters.
The board game adaptation will be available in “friendly local game shops around the world”, thanks to Jasco’s collaboration with Asmodee.
