Izuku Midoriya is the main character in My Hero Academia, but some people may not know his name. It is a term of derision that Bakugo used for Izuk when they were children. However, Uraraka restores the wound and decides that it is a motivating nickname. She claims that it makes her feel like she can accomplish anything, which is the optimistic meaning Izuku adopts.
9. HE IS THE 9TH USER OF THE ONE FOR ALL
Midoriya is such a special character because he starts the series without an alter and then receives the beautiful One For All from All Might. This Alter is a skill that is passed on from one successor to the next. Midoriya is not only the ninth person in the series to inherit the power of One For All, but also an indication of Deku’s mental connection to the former users of his alter who are now gone. Deku Midoriya aspires to become one of the greatest heroes and to retire with that status. Deku is 14 at the beginning of the series, 15 when he takes his provisional license test, and 16 at the conclusion. It is not clear whether he will reach the age of 18 or older in the story.

My Hero Academia is a high-action superhero anime series created by Kohei Horikoshi. Midoriya’s alter, for example, shows significant progression and growth throughout the story. Izuku initially specialised in hand-to-hand combat with his fists, which he channelled through his alter.
Deku learns to use the “Kick Style” over time, which allows him to master long-range projectile assaults. Midoriya also transfers his energy to his feet, creating a different fighting style. He has a lot of versatility in his fighting.

Many alters are rare and unique, but Deku’s is one of a kind. Many alters allow their users to unleash their abilities without limit. Midoriya finds himself in a tricky situation where his alter is so powerful that he can only use a tiny part of it. Otherwise, his body would be destroyed.
Without Eri’s help, Midoriya was able to reach 100% of his alter, but he can go to 45% without breaking every bone in his body. He usually works at 30%.
4. WORKS AT THE NIGHTEYE AGENCY
There are many shows that keep their characters in stasis and can benefit from it. My Hero Academia’s timeline has been slowed down, but time is moving forward, and you can clearly see the progress these characters are making as heroes.
Many characters are enrolled in internships and work-study programs in season 4. Midoriya ends up working for Nighteye’s investigation agency, alongside Miro Togata. This is a good use of Deku’s abilities, allowing her to integrate Nighteye’s work ethic and ideals as she goes along.
3. HIS SUIT REGULATES HIS STRENGTH
Obviously, the actual power and ideals of a hero are what matter most, but there are some heroes who become more famous because of their costumes and clothing. Midoriya’s costume is modified as he learns about his powers, which helps to maintain and improve his alter.
The iron soles of his shoes absorb kinetic energy, and his gloves concentrate and release pressurised air through his alter. Both cases required the help of Mei Hatsume.
2. IT IS RANKED 18TH IN CLASS 1-A
It takes a lot to be a hero, as My Hero Academia shows very well. Some characters are concerned with power alone, but strength is only one aspect of a hero. Midoriya has been involved in taking down several major villains and has done some amazing things, but he is considered pretty average in terms of stats and ranks.
Deku came in 7th place in the Class 1-A entrance exam and 4th place in the midterms. His provisional score for the Hero Licence was 71. To be more precise, Deku finished in 7th place in the entrance exam and 4th place in the mid-term of class 1-A.
1. IT HAS SEVERAL QUIRKS
My Hero Academia constantly pushes the boundaries and tests our preconceptions about alters. The further My Hero Academia goes, the more it challenges what we thought were standard concepts about alters. Many characters, whether part of a good or bad organization, have multiple alters at once, setting a new benchmark for strength in the series.
Midoriya is a unique case in which he goes from zero to three alters. He has his One For All ability, but he can also channel the alters Nana Shimura (Floating) and Banjyo Daigoro (Black Whip) that belonged to previous One For All users.
