The new open-world mobile game The Strongest Hero, based on the popular My Hero Academia anime series, is now available on Android and iOS🎮
On May 19, 2018, Funimation announced the official release of the action RPG that allows players to control their favorite My Hero Academia characters. Sony Pictures Television Games and Funimation collaborated on the game. Sony Pictures Television Games has shared a new trailer for the game’s worldwide launch on May 23. The Strongest Hero mobile game allows players to control a wide range of characters, from UA Academy heroes to villains such as Stain. In addition to providing access to more lives, the open world gameplay allows gamers to explore the world and characters of Izuku Midoriya and his friends, with locations that many fans will recognize. Players form a team of Quirk fighters in story mode and take on villains like Nomu.
Players can participate in a variety of multiplayer formats with choices to battle other players in PvP mode or join forces cooperatively to fight tough opponents. Each month, new content will be released. For the amount of heroes and villains available in the character’s youth, there will be a continuous release. Changes will be made to the existing hero and villain library to reflect the additions and changes in the anime.
The story mode will focus on the events of season 3 of the My Hero Academia anime, with fully 2D cutscenes based on the graphic style of the manga. The focus will be on Quirk battles and there will be an upgrade system to improve your favorite characters. The gameplay is simple to pick up, but it will take some strategy to fully master the potential of your heroes.
The multiplayer mode is based on the 3v3 system present in the anime, with similar rules and objectives. You’ll need to carefully choose your heroes and villains based on their unique abilities to build an effective team. In cooperation, you will face powerful bosses from the anime, such as All For One.
My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is a free-to-play game, but there are built-in purchases for players who want to earn more quickly. Microtransactions range from hero packs to character upgrades.
My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is available in English and French, but other languages may be added in the future. The game is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
